About Method Games Inc.

Method Games the nom de plume for myself, Michael John. I have worked in games creation since the early 1990s, as a producer, designer, and miscellaneous consultant. Stuff I'm particularly proud of includes:
  • Key design work on the Spyro the Dragon series for Playstation 1
  • Co-authorship of the "Cerny Method" concept of strict pre-production methodology
  • Lead design on Daxter for the PSP
  • Creating and running a development company in 2003; though it failed spectacularly, it's often cited by ex-employees and contractors as their favorite job in the business.
  • Having the opportunity to mentor some of my favorite people in the games industry.
I have never worked for a development company (outside of the one I created), though I have had lead design responsibilities on six games (three published, one currently in production).
